Today I thought I would share with you some of my favorite online places to visit for inspiration when I'm feeling crafty-artsy or just want to look at pretty things.
Miss Lovie @ www.missloviecreations.blogspot.com is upbelievable at just about most crafts, but she rocks it out when it comes to jewelry.
www.cottonandcurls.blogspot.com has some super cute stuff!
www.cluckclucksew.com is an amazing quilter and I love some of her sewing projects. She's even inspired me to try one of her quilts that she assures is simple (we'll see I guess).
http://www.stitchedincolor.com/ -Sews like a dream, and while I could never make the quilts she makes- it still inspires me to break out the sewing machine to create something- even if my projects are smaller and simpler!
My all time favorite spot to sit down with my hot tea and warm blanket and veg out for a while is Meg's site @ www.megduerksen.typepad.com - This lady Loves Christ and is so talented it is crazy!
Of course- I also love Pinterest- but really- who doesn't?!
Well, I'm off to my Mom's Pray Group!
Have a Blessed Day!

Little DaVinci
I bought this canvas at Micheal's and decided to paint it green, and to then let Kane-man paint a family picture of us on it. It was pretty sweet to watch him in action.

His audience...

The Artist with his masterpiece...

I hung it in the play room for all to enjoy!

Aren't we a beautiful family seen through the eyes of a 5 year old!...

A Few Projects...
While away on hiatus I was able to get a few projects done.
I wanted to share them...
The curtains I sewed for my kitchen (super basic stuff, but for me this is a huge step!)...

I decided the best thing for the walls in our playroom was some of Kane's own artwork. I found the frames at Michael's...

This is the thing I'm the most proud of. I've never painted anything before, but I went ahead and tried my hand at it anyway. I needed a picture to go above the full sized bed in Ruthie's room. This is what I ended up with. It goes wonderful with the bedding!...

This is the entertainment center that we found on Craig's List...$500! I know we would have paid so much more than that in a store new. I'm not done decorating it, but it was a chore getting it here and putting it up!...

Right now I'm working on completely finishing the playroom and I want to do a redo on my bedroom. So when I get those done I'll let you see what I come up with!
