Sold and officially Moved!!!

Well, here I am again. I haven't written in forever. It has been crazy getting things together to move. But, alas, it is done! My wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and Nolan's grandma Jean came and helped me get our new home in complete order yesterday. They are all my very favorite people now! They helped me so much. Holly decorated my entire house for me, while grandma Jean unpacked stuff and got my kitchen together, and mom and I organized and got my bedroom together. Nolan and I are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives that are so willing to help us whenever we need it. When we moved we were overwhelmed with the help that we received. God is Awesome!

Well, if you were wondering, our house has sold, we close this next week. I miss our house and friends in Little Rock already, but at the same time I know this is where God wants us right now.

Our new house is pretty okay. Really the only main thing that I don't care for is that when you walk into the bathrooms you kind of time warp back to the 70's. But we worked on them and now they aren't so bad. The house actually looks pretty good now.

Kane turned 3. He was so excited. For his birthday he got a tractor that he can ride. He loves it! He's a mess.

Well, gotta go! Love Ya'll. Bye!

Moving Woes

Hello friends and family! I know that I started off in my first blog saying I would post every couple of weeks or maybe I said once a week. I really don't remember. However, which ever I claimed, I fibbed. So, I am know saying that I will post whenever I get a free chance to do so. So, here it is, enjoy!

Basically we have been trying to sell our house and that is really about it. I would love to tell you that it has been a really wonderful experience, but it is really hard to keep ones house in wonderful showing condition 24/7 with a Kane Thomas running around (plus I am in my first trimester of being pregnant and I feel pretty stinky most of the time these days). We have had what feels like about 100 people look at our house, but none have made an offer (well, I take that back. One did make an offer the first day it was on the market, but it was not great. We would have lost money if we had taken it. So, it ended up not going anywhere, but now I am wondering if we should have taken it just because we need to move in 2 weeks and when nolan goes to Berryville I would like to go with him.) So, if you could please pray for us that our home will sell quickly we would greatly appreciate it.

I went to my first doctors appointment this past week and everything looks good. I had my first ultra-sound and got to see the baby moving around in there. I also was able to see the heart beating which is really such an awesome blessing to experience. Nolan wasn't able to be there because he has been really busy with class for the Non-traditional licensure program. I am sad however to be leaving the OB/GYN that I have been seeing here. I really like him and wish that he could continue to be my doctor throughout my pregnancy. He was nice enough to give me the names of a few doctors there though.

I am excited about moving and meeting new people, but I will be sad to leave some of the really great friends that I have made here. I haven't packed a single box. Keep hoping that they will magically pack themselves or something.

Speaking of magic. We went to see the new Harry Potter movie and it was not great. I am however anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new and final book of the Harry Potter series. It comes out this saturday, and I have already purchased mine. It will be waiting for me at Barnes and Noble. So, if you think you might want to call me saturday and Sunday. Don't. I won't come to the phone, I will be deeply involved in my book. (I will come to the phone if it is an emergency, but it better be big!) Julie and Adam-I expect for you to get your copy quickly so that we can have indepth conversations about what does or does not happen (like if harry dies, I will need a shoulder to cry on. So, don't be surprised.).

Well, I think this is about it. Until next time! Bye!

On The Move Again

Well, if you thought my last blog was full of big surprises wait until you read this one. In the last blog you all found out that we are expecting baby #2. Well, now we are expecting baby #2 and we are moving again. Nolan was offered a job at a smaller, public school, in a smaller town, coaching girls basketball. We are really excited (not necessarily about the moving process, but about the being there). I have been looking at houses on the internet and I found an older one that I really like. It has origanal hardwood floors and even has a claw foot tub. So, please pray for us as we begin this newest adventure in God's plan for us (that our house will sale quickly so that we can buy a house there, I can find a doctor, and kane will handle things okay). We feel very confident that we are following his will for us, and can't wait to see what he has in store for us. The town is Berryville and it is a little over an hour closer to home than we are right now. So, there it is our 2nd big news in less than a week!

We have also been at home for the last 2 weeks. We had a great time. We went to Branson with some friends, Adam and Julie Woods. We left the kiddos at home and had a fun time just us grown-ups. We swam, played ping-pong and tennis, I even had to beat everyone (including Nolan, and I have witnesses this time) in a fun little game of horse. We went to this wonderful restaurant called Chataeu on the Lake, saw a movie, and ate at Lambert's home of the throwed rolls in Springfield. It was great!

We also had a great time with family. My sister came over to mom and dad's and we always have an awesome and fun time together. I colored her hair and made her a blond bombshell. Then we stayed with Nolan's family for a few days and then we went to Branson again with the Baker's. We had a great time at Silver Dollar City and we went to a big waterslide (I had to watch from the sidelines this year, but that's okay it's worth it!

Well, there it is, Big news and vacations seem to be what is going on with us right now. We love you guys and I hope that you enjoy the blog. Down below if you click on the word comments you can write to me and let me know what you think and how you are. Have a great week! Bye!
