{ae filkins}

Amber over at {aefilkins} is Hosting a great new thing called Extreme Makeover: Me Edition, and each week she is posting a new question for us to answer.

This week's question:

How are you keeping track of your achievements. How do you reward yourself when you acheive a goal?

I have a little journal that I bought at Hobby Lobby that I keep my achievements in. I weigh in every morning, and then I record my weight in my journal. I also journal in it about my struggles, how many points I eat each day (I'm doing Weight Watchers), I write about my exercise, and anything I feel like really. I like this because it allows me to go back and see what I did and if I need to change anything.

I also take pictures of myself in the old bra and panties every so often so that I can see with my own eyes the difference. Because sometimes you just need to see it with your own eyes to believe it. (and no I'm not going to share those pictures with you! I would never do that to any of you!)

I reward myself by buying myself a new pair of shoes or here lately it has been clothes because all of my other ones are starting to hang on me because they are too Big! Yay! I say I've earned it! and I know you probably have too! So let's all go buy a new dress today!

Looks like everyone is starting their diets getting ready for summer. I started mine last week and I can already see a difference--wish I had taken pics!

I have pictures of myself in a bikini...SCARY!!!

I keep a journal as well and weigh myself every morning, so against the rules! My reward is usually a margaritas with the girls! So bad I know but after all I deserve it right?!?

Hi Kasey!

I love how you keep track of your goals! I need to figure out the whole weight watchers point thing. It sounds so much easier than trying to keep track of calories. And good idea about taking pictures in the same underwear. I bet you can really see a difference as time goes on.

And yay for your clothes being too big. That is a great feeling!!!

Taking pictures is such a great idea, I'd never thought of that! It sounds like you're doing great, love that your old clothes are "hanging" on you know, that's wonderful!

I've seen pictures of you - what's a little thing like you being so tough on yourself? I guess good bodies don't come free, huh (darn it).

I love the baggy clothes feeling! It is the best motivator to keep going!

I don't write down my weight, but I have a cool weight watchers scale that shows me my weight, my starting weight, my weight from my last weigh in, then how much I am up or down from there. Last it shows the percentage I have lost from my starting weight to my goal weight...I love it!

Hey! I started reading your post this morning, but had to abandon it. I actually went out and bought a few new tops today!! {Not that I'd earned it, though, lol}

Congrats on the clothes getting too loose!! I hope to experience that soon! :) I have TONS of clothes in boxes just waiting for me to shimmy back in to them.

You're doing great! I love how you keep a journal. I need to start doing that. I'm getting so many good ideas from everyone!
