Shoes!

Today when I was actually getting dressed in something that wasn't sweats I thought to myself- "Self, you should dress up more."- and I love shoes!  They can make or break an outfit.  Here are some that I'm loving:

Brain MeLt...

So this is totally disgusting, but my daughter, who is 4, is a booger eater. 

I know.  It's completely gross.

So anyhoo, the other day I told her that when you eat your boogers your brain turns to mush. 

I know what you're thinking:  "How Could she?!!"

Well- really it was easy.  She eats her boogers People, like she's never had a meal and it makes me cringe every single time I have to witness it.  I love her dearly with all my heart, but Boogers?  Really?  I mean come on.

So yes- I told her that her brain would soon be turning into mush and start running out of her ears with every little green monster that she munched on.

Her brother thought this was a swell little game to play on his sister so he added his 10 cents with the comment that her brain would turn to such mush that she wouldn't even be able to say her name anymore.  She'd only be able to say "ljkjd kjiujid  ljljdi lkjsiuoie." when she tried to say "My name is Little Miss Sassy Pants,"  (her real name was used in the real story, but you understand).

So a couple of days after this conversation I caught her eating her boogies again and I told her that I thought I saw something coming out of her ears and that it was probably her brain since I'd seen her eating her boogers.  She looked at me and laughed and said "yeah right mama!" and then walked around the corner.  Once around the corner she stopped and I could hear her saying "My Name is Little Miss Sassy Pants."

I guess she was just double checking that everything was still okay and that those boogs hadn't caused too much damage.  It was too funny!


Also, I curious about what you think about Miley Cyrus' new do? 

I think I like it.  And let's be honest:  She's famous and if she wants long, brown, flowing locks by next Thursday all she has to do is tell someone and she'll look like her old self in no time with extentions and color.  But I say- good choice on the blond, short, bold look- it suits her features and for sure got her the attention that she was probably going for.  I dig it.

Did I mention that I like the dress too?  Although it is a little too low cut-  It works with the hair.

As I'm sure you've figured out - I love fasion: Hair, Makeup, Clothes, Jewelry

I love it all!

It is for this reason and this reason alone that I am able to be pretty brave when it comes to some of my fashion choices.

I mean I have had some pretty crazy hair in my days and when I was growing up my fashion icon was Punky Brewster! I loved her!


However today I went to get my hair cut and I wanted to get it done like this:

but for some reason I was really nervous, which has never occurred to me when getting my hair cut. Maybe it had a little (a lot!) to do with the fact that the hubby wasn't so keen on this idea.

Am I a bad wife?...

First I love the colors, and I just adore the big chunky necklace with the strapless dress!

The simplicity of the dress just really makes that necklace something to look at! I mean you could never wear a crazy, wild dress with a necklace like that!

and the purse and shoes? - well done! I love it! This could for sure be copied into a much cheaper version for a fun date-night I'm thinkin'!

To Spanx or not to Spanx this is the question.

If you remember last week on Fashion Friday we talked about some dresses that I am thinking about getting for a little date night with the hubby. I'm thinking that with any of those dresses I'm gonna need a little bit of slimmin' up help if you know what I'm sayin' (2 babies, Hello!)?!

So I was wondering (before I go spend $80) if any of you have ever used Spanx or something like them? If so I need and want your opinions and input. I've heard some really great things about them.

I'm thinking this might be a must have for any fashion: jeans, slacks, skirts, dresses, and fitted shirts. I think Spanx could be the next great diet!!!

Fashion is my Passion on Fridays...

It's that time again! Yay!!! Can you feel the excitement?!

Fashion Fridays!!!

I think today I feel like talking clothes...so this is what I got...

I told the hubby the other night that I want to go on a date night to a play and a fancy dinner (partly for the romance and part- if I'm truly being honest with myself- to get all dressed up!). It doesn't take much for me to convince myself that I need a new outfit for an occasion. So here are a few of the directions I'm thinking I could go:
