I only have a minute...We are in the middle of a huge ice storm and without electricity (they are saying it could be out for a week). I am only able to write now because I am at my father-in-law's work where they have huge generators. I will be off line for a few days probably (tear, tear). I hope everyone has a great week and I will hopefully be back soon (with lots of pictures of this ice storm to share)!
One more thing- please pray for those that are without heat during this rough time. I have been very blessed and my parents and in-laws have a fireplace, but my poor husband is back at home without electricity, which means no heat, and we have no fireplace (I'm sure there are lots of others in the same boat). I hope you are all staying warm and having a great week! Until I get back- bye!

Fortunately, we have power (last year we lost ours for about 3 days). My hubby really wanted a fireplace when we built our house but I REALLY didn't want to deal with the mess--and I still don't!
Stay warm and I'll say a prayer for you guys.
We do not have a fireplace either, so we had to pack it up and leave our home for 7 days until we got electricity.
It sucks, and I'm sorry. Hopefully, you'll have it back in a couple of days.

We had an ice day here in Fort Worth today, too. Thankfully we have power and heat!

Ugh!! I'm glad you and the kids had somewhere to go and pray that your dh stays warm!
I have been lucky and only had short outages. Tough though when you work from home! I will pray that you and your family stay warm!
Yikes! I hope the storm is over quickly and the ice melts!! Thinking of yours and those with out heat during this time. I can't imagine how rough that must be.

We were without electricity for 3 days and we were told it could be a week before fixed...hoping yours gets fixed soon...stay warm. Praying for you.
Hey Kasey! I just saw where you live in AR. Me too! Another thing in common. I know all about the ice storm here. I've heard 70% of Ozark Electric costumers are still out. Fortunately we were only out 3 days and are part of the 30% that has electricity now. Praying for everyone else! Rhonda
Hope your doing ok during this storm. I live in the deep south so not use to this type of weather.
