Friend Makin' Mondays...

Yay!!! It's time to make some friends! Go Here to learn more about FMM and to get the rules for each week's tasks.

This week I thought we would do a little day dreaming (I am a big day dreamer)...

So here we go...

If you had $1000 dollars, and a baby sitter for a period of 24 hours what would you do?

1. I would start my 24 hours off by going to Starbucks and getting a Mocha frappucino and a orange cranberry muffin.

2. I would go shopping where I would buy a great dress, shoes, and of course accessories (taking my time and looking at everything because I'm all alone of course!).

3. I would then go to a spa where I would get the works. We're talking massage, manicure, pedicure, waxing, facial, hair, and I would also have a nice little lunch while I was there.

Now, don't think I'm awful, but I know that some people would want to spend this special fun time with girlfriends or even sisters and moms, but for me I would want to do it all alone. I would just want to relax and not feel like I had to entertain or talk. This would be just Me-Time!

4. I would then head to the hotel that I would be staying in that night with the hubby, but at this point I would be alone. I would shower and get ready (taking my time) in my nice new number that I purchased earlier in the morning on #2.

5. The hubby would come and pick me up at the hotel (this way it feels more like a real date) and we would go from there to a nice romantic dinner at a nice romantic restaurant.

6. We would then go to a nice play at a local art center. It would be one with lots of props because I say if you're going to take the time and the money to go then I want one with all the bells and whistles you know?!

7. We would then head back to the hotel and have a nice night alone without having to worry about anything else but each other.

8. The next morning we would order in room service and eat in bed before we got all our stuff together and headed back home to the real world and our beautiful babies!

I feel relaxed just thinking about it!

Don't forget to follow the rules...and You can just copy and paste the question onto your own blogs. Have fun Day Dreaming!

I know I did!!!

(I had so many people comment on Fashion is my Passion on Fridays about the shoe on #5...I was just going to let everyone know that they're from Payless! I know right!!!)

what a great idea!! could you find a sponsor to donate the $1000 so that we could all live out our daydream?

i'm not very creative and right now, i'm feeling very practical - so mine isn't nearly as good as yours!!

There's no need for me to write my own I'm just going to cut and paste yours!

I agree with Shawn...I could have just cut and paste this for mine!!! I did basically the same thing with a little twist. :D

Ahhhhh.... a day at the spa by yourself. With no one to talk to...now that is relaxing.

Now, here is the challenge- make this a REALITY...start savin' girl!

The only thing I'd do different from you is make sure the hotel had a nice hot tub in the room to relax in after dinner. mmmmm!

Oh my gosh, this is so fun! But I need $3000 and 72 hours, so I can copy some of these other ideas! Love those gold bangels and the python clutch you picked out -- what great taste!

Great idea. I will have to come back next Monday and play along. I love to daydream.

I LOVE the purple dress! I was at the Rachael Ray show a few weeks ago and saw Samantha Harris (from Dancing With The Stars) wearing one similar to it. Hers had sleeves, but I like this one even more.

And the shoes are totally sexy!

You definitely have a well thought out 24 hours...you must have been thinking about this one for awhile now! :)

I'm a little late to the party, but I'm here and that's all that matters!

Hope you had a great Monday!

This was a very fun task this week. I really had to think what I would do, as you can tell I am not a day dreamer. I love the part in your post about the me-time. I think that is so important no matter if we have a $1000 dollars to spend or not. We have to take care of ourselves or we can't take care of others. Thanks again for creating this Monday event!

You've been tagged. Come on over to play along!

I like this question because even though a thousand dollars is a lot of money, it's actually do-able (not like "say you have $20,000 to play with , what would you do?" Although I do love questions like that too; they're fun in a different way). So like someone else said, you should start savin'! Your day sounds great! (though I have to tease you and ask if you and Nolan are going to sleep in separate beds, like in the photo :-D)

I'm starting to get a little more worried now. I really hope that everything is okay. I'll be saying some prayers, even if everything really is okay.
