Moving Woes

Hello friends and family! I know that I started off in my first blog saying I would post every couple of weeks or maybe I said once a week. I really don't remember. However, which ever I claimed, I fibbed. So, I am know saying that I will post whenever I get a free chance to do so. So, here it is, enjoy!

Basically we have been trying to sell our house and that is really about it. I would love to tell you that it has been a really wonderful experience, but it is really hard to keep ones house in wonderful showing condition 24/7 with a Kane Thomas running around (plus I am in my first trimester of being pregnant and I feel pretty stinky most of the time these days). We have had what feels like about 100 people look at our house, but none have made an offer (well, I take that back. One did make an offer the first day it was on the market, but it was not great. We would have lost money if we had taken it. So, it ended up not going anywhere, but now I am wondering if we should have taken it just because we need to move in 2 weeks and when nolan goes to Berryville I would like to go with him.) So, if you could please pray for us that our home will sell quickly we would greatly appreciate it.

I went to my first doctors appointment this past week and everything looks good. I had my first ultra-sound and got to see the baby moving around in there. I also was able to see the heart beating which is really such an awesome blessing to experience. Nolan wasn't able to be there because he has been really busy with class for the Non-traditional licensure program. I am sad however to be leaving the OB/GYN that I have been seeing here. I really like him and wish that he could continue to be my doctor throughout my pregnancy. He was nice enough to give me the names of a few doctors there though.

I am excited about moving and meeting new people, but I will be sad to leave some of the really great friends that I have made here. I haven't packed a single box. Keep hoping that they will magically pack themselves or something.

Speaking of magic. We went to see the new Harry Potter movie and it was not great. I am however anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new and final book of the Harry Potter series. It comes out this saturday, and I have already purchased mine. It will be waiting for me at Barnes and Noble. So, if you think you might want to call me saturday and Sunday. Don't. I won't come to the phone, I will be deeply involved in my book. (I will come to the phone if it is an emergency, but it better be big!) Julie and Adam-I expect for you to get your copy quickly so that we can have indepth conversations about what does or does not happen (like if harry dies, I will need a shoulder to cry on. So, don't be surprised.).

Well, I think this is about it. Until next time! Bye!

Hang in there, girl. Thanks for the update; I had been wondering when you get time to send out another note. You know you have my love and prayers.

Kasey,
I am really enjoying your letters. Keep up the great job! Just remember, the Lords timing is perfect :)
I just have one question?
What are you going to do with Kane for two days while you read Harry Potter? Ha

I'm going to go into labor on Saturday just so we can call you and interrupt your reading--ha!

mrs smith... I am so happy to see that you have read my posts. And I will let you know what I am going to do with the Kane Man when I read my Harry Potter book as soon as i figure it out myself. i might let his daddy worry about it.

Julie...I'm not sure if having a baby is a big enough emergency to call me while I am reading H.P. I'll think about it and let you know what I decide (ha, ha. I know that you, Julie, got this as a joke, but if anyone else reads this I don't want them to think that I am heartless.) bye!

Harry is not going to die! But Adam has his two cents to add. I will get him on here soon...

I really need some decorating help. Where are you when I need you? This would be so much simpler if I had beaucoups of money to spend on decorating stuff. Do you know anyone who will give me beaucoups of money?

First off this is Adam. I'm a little confused because I thought your blog was called "Kasey's Potter Blog of Nerd Theories and Other Dorkness" so I hope I am at the correct site. Anyway I know your reading and have sent Nolan and Kane somewhere for a couple of days or something but I wanted to tell you my theory before you got to far. I've already told you my Harry death theory you know where he has to sacrifice himself to kill voldermort to save his friends just like his parents saved him. His love for his friends and sacrifice protect them like his parents sacrifice protected him.

Or another theory is Snape and Voldermort die and snape dies by sacrificing himself to save Harry thus redeeming himself for having to kill Dumbledore. or something like that. I will get the book soon and find out for myself.

There was a group of Potter geeks that dressed up as their favorite characters and Paraded around the square today. I figured you'd grab your wand and new book and join in on the planned social group embarassment. I know if my costume was ready I would be there.
