I'm Back with lots to Share...

Sorry I have been out. Christmas was super busy (but super Great!) and I didn't ever really get a chance to share what was going on. So here it goes...

We got to see lots of wonderful family and friends. A couple of nights before Christmas I was able to get together with 2 of my best girl friends Rachel and Dawn. We had such a fun time. We did a little shopping, ate way too much at Noodles, and then finished up at Starbucks where we stuffed ourselves even further (but sooooo worth it). I am so thankful for Rachel and Dawn. Some things have been kind of rough here lately and it is nice to be with friends that make me feel loved and special. Thanks you 2, you're the best!

We celebrated my brother's and sister-in-laws anniversary with them w/dinner and fun games over at their house. Had some super fun playing Scum (a great card game that anyone that plays is instantly addicted to)!

Christmas Eve we spent over at Nolan's parents' house, then we went to church for the Candle Lighting ceremony. It was beautiful and such a blessing as always. We then went to the Blackmon's house for our annual Christmas Eve party where we spent the evening with friends and family eating way too much and playing Chinese Christmas (or Dirty Santa). It's a family tradition and I love it! After the party we went back to Nolan's parents' and called it a night.

We woke up early on Christmas morning (5 a.m.) and hit the ground running! Santa did find us at Nana's house, Kane was super excited! It was such a joy to watch my children. Just watching them have fun and enjoy Christmas and all of it's many splendors was amazing.

We were at my parents' by 9 a.m. where it is always wild and exciting (8 grandkids ages 12 and under). It was a blast and as always my mom and dad did such a wonderful job of making Christmas special and magical!

The feast...

We went to the Smith's around 4:30 p.m.. We visited with them for a little while. They are always so generous and good to us, and then it was off to the Bakers' for the final leg of the day. It was super busy over there with lots of family. It was good to see everyone. I love Mr. and Mrs. Baker. They are so sweet and good hearted.

It was a good day. I feel so blessed to have such loving family to share such a joyous day with.

The day after Christmas we had breakfast with our good friends Adam and Julie. It was nice to sit and visit with them.

Well, I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas too, full of special moments that you will carry with you always!
