For those of you that don't know I'm kind of a stickler about the things that my kids eat. They have to eat veggies, and everything whole wheat, and not much junkie stuff. Kane has told me on more than one occasion that he would like to go live with his Nana and Mimi because (and I quote)- "Because they let me eat that tasty junk that you won't let me have."
Anyhoo, tonight while praying he says this:
"Thank you for giving me the courage to eat all that healthy food that my mom has me eat."
HA!
What a mess...He'll thank me for it later when he's older...maybe.
(carrots...YUM!)

Absolutely he will thank you fo it later! You're a good mom. Control what he eats now... before he goes off to school and trades away his healthy chicken wrap on a whole grain tortilla for a Twinkie!
:)
That is awesome! Me and hubby are vegan so I am sure our baby will have the same feelings when she grows up- maybe they will start a support group lol It think it makes you a good mom!
That is too cute. What a great mom you are! Cute picture too!
XOOX

What a great thing you are establishing with them! I love his prayer.
He is such a clone of your hubby!
My girls love healthy food! I guess I'm lucky, but they also love junk! I have a snack bucket filled with healthy junk, does that make sense? My little one gets to pull 7 items out every Sunday and put them in a smaller bucket that we keep at her level in the pantry. When they're gone they're gone until next Sunday. That girls has learned to ration her 100 calorie packs and Fig Nutons!
So glad you're back!
Ha Ha Ha, Kasey! He WILL thank you later and I choose to think that their affinity for their Grandparents goes beyond junk. At least I hope so :) My daughter is particularly obsessed with her Grandma because she always has gum in her purse!!
LOL you know what? my little dude is going to say the exact same thing! we don't buy all that junk. he gets organic foods only. once in a while he'll get a treat, but then again, i'm sure he gets junk food at daycare. boooo
happy friday!
Maybe I need to pray harder...my kids won't eat carrots! ;)
So funny. I think I will love being a grandparent!
Too cute! Yes, I believe he will thank you later!!
Ha! Oh Kane, he's a cutie!
